DEFINITIONS

"Website" refers to this website owned and operated by Abbey Ethical.
"Net order value" is the total value of any order after deduction of any discounts, deals or special promotional offers. The net order value is used to calculate carriage and delivery charges.

All orders for goods shall be subject to these terms and conditions of sale. No variation of these terms and conditions of sale shall apply unless agreed in writing by Abbey Ethical.
Abbey Ethical guarantee that all goods listed and offered on our website and for sale are as described and are fit for their intended purpose. Should any product fail to meet our high standards it will be replaced immediately. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Abbey Ethical must advise that orders for goods can only be accepted from customers who are of 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age we welcome you to browse our website but regret that we are unable to accept any order for goods from you.

PAYMENT FOR GOODS
Payment for goods ordered can be made by any major credit card or debit card.
Abbey Ethical also accepts payment for goods ordered via PayPal.

In general orders are despatched on the day after they are received, however at busy times of the year, this may not be possible. Please therefore allow 7 - 10 days for delivery from date of order.
Orders sent by Courier need to be signed-for on delivery unless you give us special instructions to leave the goods without them being signed for. Where such a request is made, Abbey Ethical cannot accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to goods delivered.
DELIVERY – OVERSEAS
Abbey Ethical does not presently offer delivery of goods to mainland Europe or North America. Should you wish to buy goods offered on this site and are unable to source them from a local or alternative supplier, please contact us with your requirements at info@abbeyethical.com and we will be pleased to assist you.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, all UK customers have the right to cancel orders placed through a website within seven working days of their receipt of the goods. UK residents wishing to cancel an order under these Regulations should return all of the specific goods to Abbey Ethical, 1 Cardy Road, Greyabbey, Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland, BT22 2LS in their original packing and in their original condition.
Abbey Ethical does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to goods returned in this way until they are received at our above address. We further strongly recommend that should you wish to return any goods that you do so by Recorded Delivery or some other means of tracked delivery system.
Upon receipt of the goods in saleable condition, a refund for their cost will be made to your credit/debit card.
Abbey Ethical wish to advise that customers are responsible for the cost of returning any goods and we do not refund any carriage charges paid.
RETURN OF GOODS
Abbey Ethical will refund or replace any products supplied if:
- They were purchased direct from us within the last 30 days
- They are returned to us in their original, unopened packaging and are in resaleable condition
- They are returned with an original or copy receipt of purchase
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning any goods to Abbey Ethical.
